A Quiet Halloween

We had a quiet little Halloween. I was out of town last week and got back Sunday night. Most Harvest/Halloween festivals and Trunk or Treats had happened earlier in the weekend. Joey still doesn’t have a concept of trick-or-treating. He just knows Halloween means dressing up in a costume and having fun.

We got the boys dressed up and took them to a park to play. What’s more fun than running around like a knight fighting dragons?! After that we went to a local dessert place for pie and ice cream. A good time was had by all. Who knows what we’ll do next year.

So…I always love hearing what costumes people do, what did your kids dress up as?

I love your little knight and dragon. They are so cute. Both of my little guys were Captain America. Here’s a link to our Halloween costume photo: http://mymontessorimoments.com/2011/10/31/happy-halloween/

We did a knight (4 year old) and a dragon (16 month old), too! Same sweet little dragon costume. 🙂 Next year I think we’ll do some fairytale characters as we’ll have a baby girl joining the family in the spring…I’m dying to create a Red Riding Hood costume.
