We all have them. Those days we wake up on the wrong side of the bed, stub your toe, the kids are extra whiny, your husband leaves his wet towel on the bed. It’s the little things that build up pushing your buttons.
On those days, take a break. Forget the work time you planned and play. Spend the afternoon at the park, have a movie day, go to your favorite kid-friendly restaurant (ours is Chick-Fil-A).
It’s better to lose one scheduled day with a perturbed mommy than to sacrifice our relationships with our children.
