The best way to teach your children good behavior is to model it yourself.
They’ll learn how to resolve conflict peaceably as they see you resolve conflict peaceably. They’ll learn to respect authority as they watch you. They’ll treat others with respect as they come to see you treat others with respect.
And remember, kids are more intuitive than we think…that sarcastic tone, the rolling of the eyes, angry steps–they hear and know what’s really going on.
